foursquare for Symbian is finally here
In the past couple of weeks, we’ve rolled out updates to foursquare on a lot of different platforms, but there was one new introduction that we were particularly excited about: foursquare for Symbian.
Nokia, the global market leader in mobile handsets sold, has been working closely with us for several months to deliver a unique foursquare experience to their users. In addition to all the foursquare features you know and love, Nokia smartphone users also get a new home screen widget, which displays an always-present snapshot of your friends’ recent check-ins and makes the check-in experience even faster.
In the two weeks since we announced it, we’ve seen a tremendous response – it’s shot up the ranks of the Ovi store and will help introduce foursquare to Nokia’s hundreds of millions of users around the world. If you have a 3.2, 5.0, or ^3 based Nokia smartphone, go download your copy for free. And stay tuned… we’re working with Nokia on other cool stuff, too.
