We keep on updating! Grab the new Android version today!

Even though it’s only been a couple weeks since our last Android update, today we have another one ready for you! It’s got a lot of things people have been asking for – like events, inline photos for your friends’ check-ins, and a whole bunch of redesigned screens (from the venue screen to the check-in detail screen).

In particular, we think you’ll love events. If you’re out at a movie, concert, or sporting event, you can check in and share exactly what you’re doing. It’s great because you can easily tell your friends that you’re at the Lady Gaga concert, instead of just at the stadium. And you can see which of your friends went to see Bridesmaids, and not just that they checked in at the theater. It saves typing, makes your history more memorable, and makes your friends’ updates richer.

So download the new update from the App Market. Hope you enjoy it!

    i tried checking in at a cinema – and there wasnt the possibility to chose a movie…
    seems it doesnt work… :-(

    BTW: I believe we created the 1st #Pastramipocalypse in NY earlier this year https://foursquare.com/item/4d29219bec272d433fa0364c way before events.  Glad to see the screen shot and that it’s taking over the world!

    phone works perfectly, doesnt need to be updated because of some stupid and thoughtless group of people… I am using the app not as much as the first times… I saw this upgrade and wanted to ask them but they dont care and dont even bother to reply… unfortunately those people are more shitty than my phone…

    Well the tap to update is almost nonexistance and when you click on refresh the button is nothing more than a plecabo since  the new update nothing is wortking like it should and I have uninstalled it more that 4 times still having problems
