Hey hockey fans, the #StanleyCup (and @NHL badge) is here!
Playoff beards, sudden death overtime, octopi on the ice – the Stanley Cup Playoffs are here, and NHL fans have tons to get excited about. Best of all, the NHL is using foursquare to make sure fans can get their hockey fix, on and off the ice.
Follow NHL on foursquare to get insider tips about your favorite teams, players, and arenas. And, even though you may never get to touch the The Cup, you can unlock the Stanley Cup badge by checking in to any playoff game, or by checking in anywhere during one of the games and mentioning your favorite playoff team (make sure to follow NHL on foursquare first!). Don’t forget to share photos when you check in!
Didn’t get tickets? Use foursquare to find sports bars, restaurants, and viewing parties so you can watch with fellow fans. Try searching Explore for “hockey,” “NHL,” “Stanley Cup,” or your favorite team’s name.
