Hey UK, say hello to @foursquare and @AmericanExpress savings!

People love using foursquare to discover new places and explore the world around them. For many, a big part of that is finding Specials and savings at shops they love.

Since March 2011, foursquare has teamed up with American Express to offer Cardmembers awesome offers that put money right back into their accounts, just by checking in and swiping their cards at merchants across the United States. A year and millions of dollars of savings later, we’re bringing our American Express powered offers over to the UK, so our British friends can save some pounds.

As always, redeeming the offers is easy peasy. Just check in at a participating business, tap ‘Load to Card’ on the Special screen, and pay with your American Express ® Card. You’ll see the credit on your statement within a few days.

Here are the places to save:

  • Bella Italia: Spend £10 or more, get £10 back
  • Café Rouge: Spend £10 or more, get £10 back
  • Eat: Spend £5 or more, get £5 back
  • House of Fraser: Spend £10 or more, get £10 back
  • Nando’s: Spend £10 or more, get £10 back
  • PizzaExpress: Spend £10 or more, get £10 back
  • Primark: Spend £10 or more, get £10 back (except for the concession stores!)
  • Strada: Spend £10 or more, get £10 back
  • Tesco: Spend £5 or more, get £5 back

These Specials are limited to one deal per place of business and are just for personal cards (no corporate or prepaid cards).
