Find the best places on-the-go, no signup required. Take Explore for a spin on your BlackBerry today!
We recently launched Explore on Foursquare.com for everyone to use. We’ve gotten really great at making local recommendations, thanks to our nearly 3 billion check-ins and 30 million tips. And, we do it in a way that nobody else can: even if you haven’t signed up or checked in yet, we can tell you the best places to go based on what’s popular in the neighborhood, where the experts go, the time of day, and more.

Inspired by the possibility of making Foursquare available to as many people as possible, our BlackBerry team built a logged-out mobile version of Explore during a recent hackday. With today’s update, BlackBerry becomes the first place where you can download Foursquare and start searching for places immediately, before you’ve even signed up.
Looking for a new lunch spot? Search for “lunch special,” “Thai,” or “spring rolls.” We’ll find the best places nearby, and show you photos, tips, hours, menus, and more.
Of course, Foursquare gets even more powerful once you start checking in. We can then customize Explore based on what you like and where you and your friends have been. Check in ten times, and we’ll come up with ten new places we know you’ll love.
