Manage a business? Now you can add events like trivia nights, wine tastings, and book signings to Foursquare

Foursquare is great for helping customers discover things to do nearby. Starting today, you can add events, like a trivia tournament or open mic night, to Foursquare listings you manage. People will see them:
- When they’re deciding where to go next. Draw them through the door with events you’re already hosting.
- When they check in at your business. Add events to encourage people to check in – plus their friends will see it in the app (and might stop by!).
- When they look at their check-in history. Help them record their experiences and remember what a great time they had at your event.
People can already see movie, concert, and sporting events in the Foursquare app (and you should be able to see and edit those on your location). Now you’ll be able to add your own, be it an author appearance, arts and crafts fair, or a fundraising event.
To start adding your events, log in to your manager account at Foursquare.com and click on the ‘Tools’ tab. Still need to claim your locations? Visit business.foursquare.com for more information.
